Last week, I was very happy to attend the Kanata Lakes Community Association AGM. The Community Associations in our community run fun and educational events for the community. The Kanata Lakes Community Association is an amazing organization. A big thank you to Bev Johnson, president. Her leadership and the hard work and dedication of all of the KLCA members saw residents enjoy the movie night in the park, the community skate, park cleaning, police information evening, and many more events. The recent speaker event with Dr. Anna N. Wilkinson educating the community on Cancer Screening for their AGM was well attended and appreciated by all.
