Live, work, and play in Kanata North

Kanata North is a beautiful community! It is home to Canada’s largest tech park, the Kanata North Technology Park. Its total economic impact on Canada’s GDP in 2018 was $13 billion, a 66 per cent increase over the $7.8 billion reported in 2015. This growth comes with challenges though. Investments in our road infrastructure are essential to ensure businesses and new neighbourhoods are well integrated and connected.

As a community, let’s work together to manage further growth and work collaboratively to tackle some of the issues we are facing.

Community Associations

Kanata North has many different community associations working hard to enrich our community and make it a more vibrant place to live, raise a family, and work.

We often receive messages from residents looking to volunteer in different ways in our community, and our Community Associations are always looking for volunteers! This is a great way to lend your skills and help our community.

We are fortunate to have active Community Associations working on initiatives ranging from hydro corridor revitalization, to cleaning the capital events, community wide garage sales, and providing input on proposed development applications. Please see the list below and consider reaching out and getting involved!
