Community Information Hubs Opening for Residents Impacted Extreme Weather Event

Hello Kanata North,

All residents who have reported flooding related issues to 311 should have received an email with the following information a few minutes ago.

The City is opening information hubs for residents that were impacted by the extreme weather event on Wednesday, July 1. Staff will be onsite to answer questions and provide information on programs, resources and safety.

The following community information hubs will be open today, Thursday, July 9 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm:

  • Ottawa Public Library – Beaverbrook – 2500 Campeau Drive
  • Ron Kolbus Centre – 102 Greenview Avenue
  • Ottawa Public Library – Centennial – 3877 Old Richmond Road
  • Nepean Sportsplex, Entrance 1 – 1701 Woodroffe Avenue
  • Ottawa Public Library – Emerald Plaza – 1547 Merivale Road

Please visit the City’s extreme weather webpage for details on locations, dates and hours of these community information hubs on Friday, July 10 and over the coming days. The locations and hours of these community information hubs are subject to change based on demand. Be sure to check the webpage before visiting a community information hub.

I acknowledge that not much notification has been given for these, but I have been told that there will also be a session tomorrow at Beaverbrook Library at the same time from 12:00 pm-7:00 pm, so do not worry if you are not able to make the time today and are looking to attend.
