Construction
Anticipated construction activities over the next 2 weeks starting October 13th week
- Ongoing Surveying and layout
- Continue construction of temporary multi-use pathway along the Easterly side of Terry Fox Drive
- Median removals and temporary paving reinstatement along Terry Fox Drive at Roland Michener/Didsbury Intersection
- Watermain adjustments along Didsbury Road for Petro Canada Gas Station
- Temporary roadway widening along the easterly side of Terry Fox Drive for future staging of works.
Traffic
The following are the current and upcoming traffic impacts for your community.
Lane Closures
Anticipated lane closures over the next 2 weeks, commencing the week of October 13th:
- Southbound Terry Fox Drive between Didsbury Road to Highway 417. Northbound lanes are not being reduced at this time.
- Intermittent lane closure to facilitate equipment moving or traffic control set ups.
Pedestrian Detours
No impacts anticipated, north-bound cyclists and pedestrians along Terry Fox Drive detoured to the temporary multi-use pathway along the East side of Terry Fox Drive, once the pathway is constructed.
OC Transpo Detours
No route impacts anticipated. Stops will be slightly shifted as needed to avoid conflict with construction.
Other
- Access to residents and business are being maintained
- PVMS signs in place
