On March 5, I was pleased to host this year’s International Women’s Day Breakfast at the John Mlacak Centre. It was a wonderful morning, bringing our community together to celebrate the achievements of women and to reflect on the importance of equity and leadership. We were honoured to welcome Nathalie Gougeon, Auditor General at the City of Ottawa, as our guest speaker. Thank you to everyone who attended and generously donated non-perishable food items and feminine hygiene products in support of the Kanata Food Cupboard and its important role in our community.
